This solid brass 3-inch radius sextant is mounted on a beautiful solid hardwood wall plaque.
The sextant can be easily removed from the plaque and is fully functional.
The sextant's telescope can be extended to focus and produces a clear and bright magnified image.
There are four dark swing-arm filters, and a built-in powerful magnifier
that can be swung into position to assist in reading the vernier scale.
The sextant has a gear-driven adjustment for the index arm and measures 4 1/8 inches (10.5 cm) tall, and 4 inches (10.2 cm) wide.
While the sextant is fully functional, it is not calibrated nor intended for navigation.
The plaque has Roman edges and measures 6 inches (15.2 cm) wide, 5 1/4 inches
(13.3 cm) tall.
The sextant and plaque are 3 inches (7.6 cm) deep and weighs 17.4 ounces (493 grams).
The wooden plaque only has room for a small brass plaque at the top that can be Custom Engraved
for an additional $10 with three words maximum, such as a name.
